Biography
As an SMWW Sports Agent Advisor, Andy Tuitele has been personally mentored by Dr. Lynn Lashbrook of SMWW - including agent regulations, contract law, player association legalities, contract negotiation, endorsements, sponsorships, ethics, collective bargaining agreements, draft preparation, marketing, and athletes recruiting. Andy is well adept at preparing you for your sports professional career and has the ambition to attain the knowledge, skills, and sports industry experience needed for a successful professional athletic career. He will do whatever possible to represent your interests and needs to help you achieve your goals as not only a sports professional athlete but also a professional career after playing sports. Andy takes a fully integrated approach to his clients’ wealth, personal life, career, and post-career challenges with the goal to simplify and enhance your future. By serving as your primary contact for everything from financial and legal advisory assistance to addressing your lifestyle needs as he works closely with the SMWW Senior management team off the field, so you can focus on your career on the field. Andy studied business management at BYU-I. In addition, Andy has a degree in Environment Control Service Technology from Arizona Business College. Through his experience at SMWW, Andy has been a sports agent advisor for various sports fields including football, basketball, soccer, baseball, bodybuilding, and MMA/UFC. He has represented over 25 players in professional football leagues in a single season, including NFL, CFL, AFL, IFL, and RFL. He has interned over three years with a senior attorney and partner NFL agent Tony Joseph of Hall & Evans law firm. Andy has experience negotiating multi-million-dollar contracts, revenue dealings, and corporate clients. He has served as a (C.E.U.O.) Chief Executive Union Officer, part of national membership in the U.S. and Canada of over 800,000 members in compensation negotiations, Weingarten Rights and employee grievances and employee contractual negotiations.
Andy has over 25 plus years of executive management experience including Entrepreneur, President, Senior Vice President, Vice President, Director, Branch Manager and many other roles including and not limited to marketing, sales, operations, business development, account management, customer services, business analysis and contract negotiations in various industries including telecommunications, publishing, IT security, office supplies, and media relations. His employment has ranged from Staples, Verizon, Sprint, MCI WorldCom, Thrifty Nickel, Craftmatic, Omnicom, Juniper Networks, and Dex Media. He currently resides in Denver, Colorado with his wife of over 25 years and a 21-year-old son, who played football for the state championship team. He enjoys watching his son's football games, attending sporting events, traveling with his family, and playing golf during the week. Andy also speaks Samoan. He has lived in Samoa, New Zealand, Europe, Hawaii, and throughout the U.S.A. As a sports agent advisor, he hopes to help athletes achieve their goals and dreams of playing professional sports and take them to the next level and becoming a productive citizen by giving back to local communities. Andy is a member of the Free Mason locally in Denver Colorado. Andy is committed to providing the care and skills needed to serve the needs of professional athletes. He represents athletes in all sports but has a primary emphasis on football. Andy has spoken as a guest panelist at the Football Conference NFL combine in Indianapolis hosted by SMWW.
