Biography
As an SMWW Agent Advisor, Imanueli “Manu” Kotobalavu has been mentored by Dr. Lynn Lashbrook and Joel Corry. He has completed and is proficient in all the requirements of becoming an Agent which includes:
• Agent Regulations and Player Association Legalities
• Draft Preparation / Training
• Contract Negotiation
• NFLPA Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Ethics
• Endorsements & Sponsorships
• Marketing / Recruiting
• NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness)
Manu is well adept at preparing you for your sports career and has the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully represent professional athletes.
He’ll do whatever possible to represent your best interests, and help you achieve your goals during your time as a Professional Athlete along with your transition to life after sports. Manu takes a fully integrated approach to his client's wealth, personal life, career, and post-career challenges with the goal to simplify and enhance your life.
He will serve as your primary contact from financial advisory assistance to addressing your lifestyle needs while working closely with the SMWW Team off the field so that you can focus on your career on the field.
Manu's education includes a Master's in Accounting along with an Undergraduate Degree in Criminal Justice. He has a love for sports and is a former student-athlete. Manu comes from Fijian and Hawaiian descent and grew up playing Football, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, and Rugby.
His main focus will be working with NFL athletes, but he can also assist with professional playing careers in the NBA, MLB, MLS and Rugby leagues.
His Mother is Luana Kalilimoku from Molokai, Hawaii, and his Father Vilisoni Kotobalavu is an experienced Fijian Rugby player that once captained the BYU-Hawaii Rugby Team. His older brother who is named after their Father played both Football and Rugby at the University of Utah. Manu’s cousin Sisa Koyaimaibole is a Veteran Fijian Rugby Union Player who is currently playing for CA Brive in France. Manu’s younger cousin Tevita Ikanivere is currently playing on the Fiji Rugby Team.
Manu currently resides in Laie, Hawaii with his beautiful wife Heidi Togafau from American Samoa and five active children. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
