Biography
Fred Nash Born in Inglewood, Ca family moved to Rialto, CA in the mid-1996 Fred, or Nash as most would call him went to Eisenhower High School. It’s there where he started his volleyball career in the spring of 1999. During his junior year, Nash achieved the award for Most Inspirational in his first year. In 2000 for Nash’s senior year, he helped the Eagles break into the school’s first-ever CIF playoffs and pave the way for the following year where the school earned its first-ever CBL league title. Nash, while at Eisenhower, played 4 years of soccer as the starting goalkeeper with an achievement for MVP as a freshman. He pursued his soccer career at East Los Angeles City College where he became the starting goalkeeper. Nash lives in Redlands, CA with his 4-year-old son Kavon Michael-Dwyane Nash and 3 dogs Gabby, lily, Sadie.
Coaching Experience
Fred Nash started his coaching career at Arroyo Valley high school as the Girls/Boys Varsity Volleyball coach. Nash within his second year with the Blackhawks guided the girls to the first round of CIF in 2003. In 2006 Nash had 4 years with Redlands High School 2 years with the Girls then 2 years with the Boy's where both programs had appearances in the CIF 2nd round. In late 2010 Nash became the Assistant Coach at Riverside City College. There Nash assisted in guiding Riverside to a 17-5 record which is the best in the school’s history and was a top 15 finish in the state. Nash has helped develop RCC’s reputation as one of the great competitors in California’s Orange Empire Conference. In 2012, Nash had the opportunity to volunteer coach with Club West’s 18 National teams. In the same year 2012, Nash helped lead Citrus Valley High School’s Boys Varsity Volleyball program to its first-ever league title and a playoff berth. In 2013, Nash was given the opportunity to coach Club West’s 15 junior teams. Fred Nash was given an opportunity to become the Head Coach for Rubidoux High School. In Nash's first year, he guided the Falcons to a 2nd place finish, the first in the school’s history in 10 years and more wins in school history, and first playoff appearance in 10 years. In 2016 Nash became the Boys’ volleyball coach for Nuview Bridge Early College High School in Nuevo, Ca there he guided the boy's program to the 1st round of the playoffs, Nash became the U16's girls coach for New Club Out Of Bounds VBC then the following year 2017-18 club season nash became the 18-NB head coach for OOB also the Player Development Coordinator.
In 2017-2018 Fred Nash became the Varsity Girls Volleyball/Girl’s JV Soccer coach at Chaffey High School and started to build the program from the ground up, his second year Nash improved the program with a number of participants and better quality play from the previous years but his time at Chaffey ended. Fred went on to find his opportunity with West Covina High School, Fred was hired in the 2019 School year to coach their Volleyball/ JV boys soccer program. Fred help guide the Volleyball program back to the playoffs but also help them secure 2nd place in the Hacienda League then helped develop a strong Junior boys soccer team. Nash opened his own Volleyball Club back in 2018 known as Empire Elite Volleyball Academy in the 2 years since they opened placed 8 girls on junior college volleyball programs Fred Nash is the director of the club and he is looking forward to guiding this new club and help them grow the game. Fred Nash currently completed as course with Sports Management World Wide in Athlete Management where he could keep pursuing his love for sports and to help student-athletes in their potential professional careers, he is looking to help guide athletes in the soccer world and the volleyball world. Nash has still kept in touch with his soccer life, as a scout for a top soccer academy based in Ovada, Italy called Genova International School of Soccer for the last 4 years and spent some time at the academy in 2013. He has seen international players get picked up by top clubs such as Cluj (Romania) Div 1, Alecante Hercules (Spain) Div 2, Inter Milan (Italy) Seria A. Nash also became Associated with Uk sport management D1Sportsmanagement who produces Athletes in the Soccer, Racing, and boxing world.
