Biography

Everett Coleman is a recent graduate of the SMWW NFLPA Prep Course, taught and mentored by Dr. Lynn Lashbrook and former NFLPA Certified-Agent, Joel Corry. As an agent advisor, Everett has expertise in basic terms of CBA, NFL contract negotiation, signing bonus proration, salary benefits contracts, rookie contracts, rookie pool, veteran negotiation, accrued vs credited seasons, restricted and unrestricted free agency, franchise, transition tag, Injury and Non-Injury grievances. Everett has attended the SMWW Football Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. Over the past thirty-years, Everett has held numerous positions within sports organizations. He currently serves as the President of Team Texas (Houston) of the States Developmental Football League. Previously, Everett served as a Regional Scout (Houston) for the Carolina Cobras of the Arena Football League. He has also served as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Houston Texans, Houston Hotshots, Houston Rockets, and Rice University. He has performed game day management for the NCAA Football Championship Series in Frisco, Texas. Finally, he was a presenter at the Munich Business School regarding Ownership: National Football League versus English Premier League; 1996 Summer Olympics (Atlanta) versus 2008 Summer Olympics (Greece). Everett received his Master of Science in Sport Administration from Texas A&M University and his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Rice University. He has also studied International Sports Business at The Munich Business School in Munich, Germany. He was a four-year (1986 – 1990) Rice University Football letterwinner. He is a member of the National Football Foundation and National Football League Alumni. Everett’s mission is to be a Servant Leader for his clients throughout their journey in life and guide them in creating their own Legacy.
